Are you expecting? Do you want to find out who the biological father is? Who’ztheDaddy’s paternity test during pregnancy is considered as one of the most advanced prenatal paternity test across the globe. The non-invasive prenatal paternity test is 99.9% accurate and involves 0% risk for both the mother and fetus. This highly scientific test can be performed from just 9 weeks of pregnancy (7 weeks past conception)!
Science behind the test
Who’ztheDaddy?™’s prenatal test is medically speaking “non-invasive” and “non-surgical. Other sampling methods during pregnancy such as amniocentesis or Chorionic villus sampling are risky, “invasive” surgical procedures and are not recommended as means of establishing the paternity of an unborn child; 1 in 200 cases of amniocentesis results in miscarriage. Invasive tests are only recommended when some abnormality in the unborn baby is suspected. On the contrary, non-invasive prenatal paternity testing only uses maternal blood and guarantees no side effects or miscarriages, ensuring the absolute safety of the baby and the mother.
Starting from $1590, this DNA test uses Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology to isolate the fetal DNA from the maternal DNA and to carry out an extensive analysis of 2,688 genetic markers! The prenatal paternity test can be carried out if you are in your 7th week from conception, meaning that you will be in your 9th week of pregnancy (starting from the first day of your last menstrual period). Use our pregnancy calculator to discover your due date!
The non-invasive prenatal paternity test cannot be conducted in cases of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), less than 9 weeks pregnancy (7 weeks past conception), twin or multiple pregnancies or when the alleged fathers are close blood relatives. This test also cannot be performed when the mother is suffering from cancer or pre-eclampsia or has had a recent blood transfusion, bone marrow, organ transplant or stem cell therapy.
The prenatal paternity test requires a blood sample from the mother and mouth swab samples from the alleged father. Please note that a trained professional is required to collect the maternal blood sample. The alleged father’s samples can be collected by the test participants themselves following the instructions provided in the sample collection kit.
The sample collection kit will include everything that is needed in order to collect the DNA samples.

This non-invasive test does not require a specialist to assist you and you do not need to undergo any unpleasant procedures with unpleasant side effects. Diagnostic techniques such as amniocentesis and Chorionic villus sampling are both carried out under local anesthetic and following these procedures, the expectant mother may experience premature labour, miscarriage, fever, soreness and a range of other side effects or complications.

What is the price of this DNA test?
Who’ztheDaddy?™’s prenatal paternity test is offered at $1590. This price includes testing both the expectant mother and the alleged father. If the second alleged father is available for the test, we always suggest including his sample. Please note that there is an additional fee for testing the second father. If the father lives in a different location, Who’ztheDaddy?™ can also send out a separate kit for a small fee.
When will the results be ready?
Standard results will be available within 5 to 7 working days. Who’ztheDaddy?™ also offers an express testing service with results within 3 to 4 working days (the mother needs to be 10 weeks pregnant). Please note that turnaround time starts from the receipt of samples at the laboratory. The additional cost for express testing is $385.
How soon should the samples be sent once collected?
The samples should be sent as soon as possible after the collection to minimise the delay in reaching the testing laboratory and the potential degrading of the sample.
What happens if I take the test too early?
Performing the test too early means a high chance of inconclusive results. In such cases, we do not find enough fetal DNA in the blood sample (more than 7 ml required). Every pregnancy is different and there are very rare cases where the amount of fetal DNA is below the levels required by the laboratories despite the blood extraction taking place at 7 weeks from conception (this means you will be in your 9th week of pregnancy, starting from the first day of your last menstrual period).
Can previous pregnancies or miscarriages affect the test results?
Fetal DNA is cleared from the maternal bloodstream within a few hours. Because of this, there is no chance of misdiagnosis with this test. However, the test results can be affected by other factors such as the gestational period, mutations in an individual’s DNA, contamination during sample collection, method of sample storage and transportation.
Are there any additional costs involved?
The only additional costs you may incur are if you choose to add any additional participants, kits or services to your order and the fee for the medical blood draw. Please read our terms and conditions for any other charges.
